Why Natural?
Q: All honey is natural, right?
A: Well, not exactly. While the work that the bees carry out is natural, how the hive is managed contributes greatly to the product. Most folks would never expect that bees in typical apiaries are treated with pesticides and antibiotics. Who knew honey combs are typically in chemical storage most of the year? Rest assured our hives are always managed as naturally as possible.
Q: Is your honey organic?
A: 100% organic is our goal. We may never achieve USDA certification because we can’t control all of the area where our bees will travel. But we believe that you should always do your best and not just for recognition. We hold ourselves to a high standard. We think that is most important. Wouldn’t you agree?

A: We want our family and friends to live long, healthy, and productive lives. We respect the balance of nature rather than attempt to control it with powerful, toxic synthetic chemicals. Once upon a time DDT was widely used and considered “safe”. And you know how that turned out...
Q: What else should I know?
A: Our pledge to you is that Taylor’s Finest will never include additives, honey or wax from other countries, will not be harvested with chemical repellants. Our bees will be strong and healthy without the use of antibiotics and pesticides and their hives will be made of natural materials and close to fresh, clean water sources.
In the interest of high production or out of ignorance most honey producers go with conventional methods. As with many agricultural endeavors, cheap food often comes with a high price to our health. The Taylors that manage Taylor’s finest want you to know that only the best honey will carry our name.
